Research interests
We focus on understanding how organisms adapt to their environments. We combine -omic approaches with detailed molecular and phenotypic analyses to get a comprehensive picture of adaptation.
Research organisms
Drosophila, Anopheles, Eukaryotes
Bioinformatic, analytic, experimental skills
Transposable element analysis (T-lex3, MCHelper), transcriptomics, epigenomics
Recent publications

MCHelper: a tool to automatically curate transposable element libraries across eukaryotic species.
The Manual Curator Helper tool, MCHelper, allows to automatically curate transposable element libraries generated by other softwares. MCHelper allows to generate high-quality transposable element libraries and high-quality transposable element annotations across eukaryotic genomes, thus facilitating the analysis of these crucial genomic components.
